I’m Jessa, an all-American Catholic girl and graphic designer living in Jerusalem with my husband, the six-foot-three Ecuadorean astrophysicist. I’m a military kid who attended nine schools in five cities before landing in Texas. Austin is where I attended college (Hook ‘em!), became Catholic, and met the man I would eventually marry. Now, we’ve been on our honeymoon for four years! I never say no to an adventure: I enjoy scuba diving, kayaking, whitewater rafting, jumping off bridges, jumping from planes, and now, living in foreign countries. My husband and I now live in Jerusalem, a wounded and magical ancient land where prophets have walked, the books open backward, and everything floats (that photo is me in the Dead Sea). Enjoy our story!
